Our Projects
Solving Homelessness Through Civic Responsibility
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, YCCO is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our individual projects. While our past efforts were driven by a singular focus, we spread a wide net by investing in various progressive strategies that provide access and fill gaps.

TINY HOMES
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO A HOUSING CRISIS
We are accepting donations and sponsorships for constructing the first 3 or 4 tiny homes.
The City of Amarillo has been supportive; however, the Amarillo community is resistant to building tiny homes for any reason.

We believe tiny homes are a great solution for seniors on fixed incomes that need to downsize. They can do so in the neighborhood they know and love. They may also serve as an affordable option for young adults aging out of the foster care system.

We are always available to talk about our vision for a few very well-placed tiny home communities.
OUTREACH
OUR CHRONIC HOMELESS
We will always make sure that our brothers and sisters continue to receive survival needs and know that they are loved. This will always be our HEART!

COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT
Neighborhood Newspaper

Coming - Mid / Late 2023

Our publication will be San Jacinto Neighborhood specific, with all the updates on things going on in the neighborhood. We will educate readers on City and County processes so that our residents can understand how our local government decisions truly apply personally and as a community.
